Three posts in one!!

Hello lovelies,

So as you can tell by the title this post will be very long and mixed with three different subjects. this first term back after christmas was the shortest and most stressful term ever! starting course works, deadlines for course works and guess what more work during this half term (e.g. filming the media course work.. doing my 1st film of photographs for my photography exam preparation) ufff ca it just be summer already?!

Anyways first of all i promised you guys over on twitter that i was going to post my valentines look but i didn't get to post it before valentines as i moved houses on the saturday before Vdays and i only managed to get full access to internet on valentines day and after that I have been busy filming and taking pics for my course works.

So here is the final look and the products i've used!

Products used: MUA Pro-Base Primer, MUA  Blusher on the shade Lolly, Rimmel London Stay Matte powder on the shade 001 transparent, MUA Poptastic pallet in which i used the two shades on pink and the purple shade on top of the light pink. Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof eye definer on the shade 26 Noir, collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner on the shade black, Maybelline  fit me concealer on the shade 15, Rimmel London scandal eyes show off mascara Collection 2000 Naturally Matt foundation on the shade 3 Beige, Maybelline Baby lips Hydrate, Natura Faces on the shade Coral Doce.

Tools used: For the blush i used my new Elf Bronzing Brush, for the powder i always use the models own Powder brush, eyelash curler from Eleganttouch and for the shadows i used the body shop eye brushes i used the shading brush and the big one to blend in the colours.

And that was my Valentines make up look for the hair i just took it out of my ponytail and brushed out the nots (pretty much my just woke up kinda hair xD)

Moving on to the second par of this post… i managed to ordered some things from elf before i moved and i received last Thursday and i decided to share it with you guys what I got which according to my dad the postman left it under the front door carpet xD

So yeah i got those goodies and till now i've only tried the bronzing brush and i love it!!

And the third and last part of this post is to tell you guys that i created a Instagram just for blog related things which you can go follow it and i'll certainly follow back.

So this is pretty much it, on staturday i'll be back to a better quality post, so sorry about this one but yeah.
Any post requests? leave them down in the comments.

Monthly Favourites -January 2014-

Hello lovelies,
As most of you would agree that January is the month where we normally don't have that many favourites but I've managed to gather five beauty products and a couple of snacks that I've enjoyed the most through out this first month of the year.

The first product is the MUA Pro-Base Primer which if you follow me on twitter you would know that I've had this for about three months, now trying it out and it seems to be the best drugstore primer I've tried.
The second product is the Clean & Clear Morning Energy Shine Control Daily Facial Wash which i got it last week and use it every morning before i go to college which works very well together with the Clean & Clear morning every shine control daily facial scrub which i use it when i take shower and both of this products does exactly what it says on the bottle it leaves my skin oil free all day.
The next product is the Naturally Matt Foundation by Collection on the shade Beige 3 which has becomes my new day-to-day foundation this winter as it leaves my skin flawless for about 6 hours (which is normally as long as i allow my face to stay with make up on) it doesn't have the best coverage but if you have been with me long enough you'd know that i like my make up as natural as possible so the only thing i expect the foundation to do is to cover a little bit of the red blemishes other than that the concealer should do the job.
The last beauty product that I've loved this month is the Exaggerate Water Proof Eye Definer by Rimmel London on the shade 26| Noir which it's been my waterline eye liner for as long as i can remember.

Moving on from Beauty products. So my snake recently have contained just the Cadbury Bournville Classic Dark Chocolate and started my addiction again to the Lipton Ice Tea Peach flavour.

Well this is pretty much it, sorry for the bad quality photos it's because I'm moving houses next week and most of my things including my camera are already packed and ready to move so yeah. When I'm settled in the new house I'll do a room tour video/ post and might even start doing youtube videos.. hopefully everything works out with this idea, because i tried before and i've never gone through with posting it because i always felt self conscious about how i looked in it but I'll give it a try once again.

Also leave it down in the comments what products you've been enjoying this past month and what kind of posts would you like to see it next on the blog.. I've been struggling with new ideas.. it would be awesome if you guys helped me out.

Much Love,
Maria xox

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick -Review-

Hello  Lovelies,
So I got this  Moisture Renew Lipstick from Rimmel for a long time now and never maniged to show it to you guys what I bought that day but oh wells lets get to the review.

I don't know if i ever mentioned to you guys that I'm not a big fan of lipsticks, I'm more of a lip balm kind of girl but this one has turned into one of my favourites lip product for this past few weeks because it's so moist and doesn't dry your lips after you had it on for an hour or so, it's very pigmented swell but i don't like bright colours on my lips that much so i only put one coat of it and get a tissue to take out the excess to get the right amount of redness i want.
Loved this product, I'm already planning to buy the nude and the Oxford Street Fushia or the Coral Britannia shade of this collection.
Overall this lipstick is the amazing and has definitely got me into wearing lipstick more often.

How about you, have you tried any of the shades from this collection?
and also what is your favourite shade of lipstick you like to wear the most?
Leave it down in the comments.

Much Love,

Very early Christmas Wish List!

Hey guys,
I know is a bit early to be posting a 'Christmas Wish List' but yeah.
I know the things in my list seems a little bit greedy but thats what I've been wanting for a long time now and I know im not going to get everything I want but I always stick to this this list until I get everything doesnt matter if I spend years waiting for it. I notmally ask for one thing for christmas and then one thing for my birthday and normally those things are what I really really want/need.

1. Macbook Pro 15inch. This is something I've wanting for a long time, my current computer is very very old and its supper slow. Nearly every month I have to restore it so it wont frezze consgtantly or what not, even though my parents dont want to get me a laptop (they want to get me a newer version of my current computer which is a macmini) but I just think it would be more pratical to have a laptop as I'm in college and in a few years will be going to university it would be easier to already have a laptop which I could take anywhere and do my assiments and other things.

2. Dr Martens Pascal Boot Black. AHHHHHH I just want those boots so much!

3. Aria Clarisonic Blue. Well I really want this as I heard loads of good things about it and how I have really bad skins I would like to give this a try and see if it gets any better. I dont specifivcally want a Aria Clarisonic Blue, I would be happy the cheapest one I can find xD.

4. RealTechnique Powder Brush. I'm just in need of a new and big powder brush as I only use brushes for my powder anyway.

5. Maybelline New York Baby Lips Balm Electro. I JUST WANT IT! I've seen pictures of people wearing them and I just feel in love with the shades.

6. Mac Shy Girl Lipstick. I've wanted a nude lipstick for a few months now and as I've been searching through the web, loads of people seem to use this one and I've seen people using them and its exactly the shade I want.

7. Penny Board. since I was little I used to love to skate and everything and since I moved to london it seems like I have forgoten about every productive thing I used to do. I would love to get a penny board and get on my old habbits of skating around and hurting myself trying to learn new tricks ( not those extream ones but yeah) haha.
What do you want for christmas? or what have you been dying to get?
Let me know in the comments.

Mini Primark & Superdrug Haul

Hello lovelies,

Last week Sunday I went out to get some shopping done because I needed some new cheap clothes(xD) and I wanted to try a new concealer out.

First I went to Primark. I saw loads of things in New Look before i went to Primark and i did not see much difference in with the styles of clothing that were out and the quality of the clothes looked similar so i thought it would be easier to get what i want in Primark as it would be way cheaper there.

I went in there with only one thing in my mind! FIND A HOODIE!
So I went straight to the part where they have hoodies and joggers and coats. They did not have a black hoodie as I wanted I got a nice purple hoodie and I tried to get a little bit bigger than me so it looks baggy and feels comfortable.
I got this one for £8.00 (in new look the same hoodie was about £12/14)

Near the hoodies and coats there were the hair section and I was in a serious need of hairbands, so I went there and when I saw all the options of colours for hair band I totally lost it so I end up getting the black simple ones and this pink&blue&purple ones!

Then I went T-shirt hunting haha I found two cute shirts one is a plain grey one is a little bit see through but looks amazing with a white or black bra and the other one is a white one with a beautiful LA stamp that says dreaming of life in LA.
Grey shirt was £4 and the LA one was £3.

Then I fell in love with this gorgeous neon leopard print scarf which I did not think twice about buying it. It was £4

Thats all I got in primark! Off to super drug I got myself the Fit me Concealer as I heard very good things about it on youtube and from other bloggers, so I thought I would give it a try.

And last but not least I got two Baby Lips lip balms from Maybelline. I got the blue and pink packaging   one which says its for Hydration which so far is my favourite from the ones I got because it actually does makes my lips feel more hydrated but not for a long time though. The other one I got was the yellow and orange packaging one which says is for Intense Care, I'm not a big fan of this one because it did not make my lips feel like it was being intensely cared (if that makes any sense) it actually made my lips feel a bit dry.
Each one was £2.99 but it was on sale as 2 for £5 when I got it.

Have you tried any of the Baby lips lip balms? what are your opinions on it and what about the Fit Me concealer, did it work for you/ did you like it?
Let me know in the comments.

Summer Favourites

Hello,

So as I promised to you guys on twitter (@misscheerful28) I'm going to do my summer favourites as summer is already over for me due to the fact College starts on Wednesday and it's getting cold again!

Make Up

I actually didnt use much make up or beauty related things this summer but when I really needed to go somewhere important or where there would be cute guys (hehe xD) I used the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation which is very light and theres a good but very little coverage. (I use on the shade 120 which is classic ivory)

Skin care

Definitely the Clearasil Vitamins & Extracts Face Scrub & the Clearasil Deep Cleansing Wipes (as always).

Hair

It has been ages since I have split ends and it's all thanks to TRESemme Split Remedy literally a life saver! I normally apply right after I washed my hair.

Nails

For the summer I love pastel colours because they are so light and cute and nothing extravagant which suits with nearly everything you use/wears during the summer.

(Blue one is from Technic, the orange/pinkish is from Gold, the green one is from Rimmel, the purple and the yellow one are from Hello Petal I believe but they came on a magazine so I dont know if you can find it anywhere)

Spring Favourites!

Helloo,

So how it's spring I decided to share with you guys, what has been my favourites through out this season.

Nails

Tribal/French nails designes!
As my school doesn't allow the students to wear nail vanish on their nails, I have to do something simple on my nails so they wont notice I have it on. For spring I normally either just do french nails or just live it without no nails vanish just with the base, but this year I got the fascination with tribal nail designs so I gave it a try :)
Hair
For spring I like the curly/wet look on my hair, so I normally mousse it.
It gives my hair volume and it's very piratical and quick to apply.

Books

When Summer Ends by Isabelle Rae (iBook Store) & While It Lasts by Abbi Glines

When summer ends is about a girl called Chloe Henderson who has never been one to break the rules or push the boundaries... but during her summer break, she and her friends use fake IDs to sneak into a club. It's there that she meets handsome and alluring bartender, Will Morris. The pair hit it off immediately, growing closer with every passing day. But as with every summer, it has to end sometime. Chloe's senior year approaches and there's a shock in store when she returns to do her final year at school. Will is there too, but he's not one of her fellow students... A tale of forbidden love, broken hearts, friendship, and rivalry.

While it lasts is about a guy called Cage York who has a free ride to college for baseball - or he did, until he got in trouble for drink-driving. Now he has to give in to his coach's demands and spend his summer baling hay. No hot babes in bikinis waiting to meet a Southern boy to make her vacation complete. Just him and the damned cows. Oh and an uptight, snarky brunette with the biggest blue eyes he's ever seen.

Eva Brooks planned out her life step by step when she was eight years old. Not once over the years had she lost sight of her goals. Josh Beasley, her next door neighbour, had been the centre of those goals. He'd been her first boyfriend at seven, her first kiss at ten, her first date at fifteen and her first tragedy at eighteen. The moment she'd received the phone call from Josh's mother saying he'd been killed along with four other soldiers just north of Baghdad, Eva's carefully planned life imploded in the worst way possible. Now she has to deal with the arrogant Cage York and his irritating smile.
But as the summer bailing hay rolls by, Cage and Eva learn that what they want (and need) may be something they never saw coming.

I really recommend you guys to ready both these books they are absolutely amazing!!
Candles

Jelly Belly Very Cherry!
If you like scented candles and Jelly Belly this is literally for you!
I keep it in my room and whenever I light it up it actually manages to leave the whole house smellying so nice that it gives the felling that I'm in a candy store!

Fragrances

Ralph Lauren perfume (Blue one) I have no idea the actually name of it but I just know that I've loved this perfume since I was little and I still love it so much!

Make up

I actually don't have a favourite make up or make up routine for spring because I never actually change how I do my make up every season, so I'm going to do a post on my make up routine so you guys know what I usually use and do.

Much love,

NYC All Day Long Foundation - Review -

Hello,
As I promised, heres the review on the NYC  All Day Long Foundation.

I got this foundation on the shade of 745 Soft Honey.
I've been testing this foundation for about a month now and it's currently my favourite foundation ever.
It had a really good coverage.
It does kinda feel a bit dry while applying it but after it's all done makes your skin feel soft like there is no make up in it.
If you like to apply apply foundation without a primmer, this is not a foundation for you because it's hard to apply and it doesn't last as long as it says in the bottle without applying a primmer first.
It's a really cheap for a very good product. (Retail price £3.99)
I really recommend it.

March Favourites

Helloo!

As i just created this blog and march just came to an end.. I thought I should share my march favourites with you guys! (:

#1
The first beauty product I've been loving this month is the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in the shade of 001 Transparent.
I got this from Superdrug for £3.99 and it does as it says. It stays up to 5 or more hours and keeps the natural shine and as I still go to school (meaning 7/8 hours without having the time to go check if your make up is still decent xD) this powder is really useful because it helps your make up last for a long time.
I really recommend it!

#2
The second beauty product I've been loving this month is the NYC all day long foundation in the shade of 745 Soft Honey.
I also got this in Superdrug for £3.99 and it says it lasts up to 14 hours. Well as I said I spend a long period of time without checking how my make up looks through out the day but when I get home and check my make up is perfectly intact as it was in the morning, I don't know if it's because of the foundation or the powder but I'll soon do a review on both my Stay Matte powder and this NYC all day long foundation and I'll get back to you guys about it. It also has a really good coverage.
I really recommend it!

(Sorry for the bad pictures my camera was without battery so i took it with my phone)

                                                                                #3
The third beauty product I've been loving this month, well not just this month but this has been my  favourite concealer for about a year or so but yeah, it's the Rimmel London Match Perfection 2-in-1 Concealer & Highlighter in the shade of 030 Classic Beige.
I also got this at Superdrug for £2.99 at the time it was in sale but now it's around £5.99 a bit expensive compared to my other products but it has a really good coverage compared to other concealers I've tried.
I really recommend it!

#4
The forth beauty product l've been liking this month is the NYC smooth skin perfecting primmer in the shade of 684.
I also got this from Superdrug for £3.49 it was really cheap and it leaves your skin soft and ready for the foundation. The only downside of this primer is that it contains glitter in it, but after you put your foundation on it doesn't show the glitter from the primmer.

#5
The fifth beauty product I've been loving this month well not just this month but this has been my  favourite lip moisturiser for a few years now, is the Vaseline Rose lips.
I got this at Boots for £1.99 and i have no other words apart from this product is AMAZING! I use it everyday as a lip gloss or a lip moisturiser and it always leave my lips looking healthy, softer and moisturised.
I really recommend it!
(Sorry the tin is so smashed/scratched up it's because I cary it everywhere)

#6
The sixth and last beauty product I've been loving this month is actually two Modelsown Powder brush and Blending brush.
I got this at Boots as well but a long time ago it was about £4.99 but they don't sell it anymore so yeah.

Hair:

The only hair product I've been loving this month is the VO5 Mega Hold Weather Resistance Styling Mousse.
I got it at Superdrug for £2.99 and it says it holds up for 24 hours however it doesn't but holds up a real good 12 hours in my experience.
  I really recommend it!

Skincare :

This the only skincare product I've been loving this month is the Clearasil Deep Cleaning Wipes.
I got it at Superdrug for £3.99 and as I've a really sensitive and very acne skin these wipes has been my life savers!
They leave my skin clean and I've been getting less acne after i started using it.
 I really recommend it!

Snacks:

AHHHHHH THE BEST CHOCOLATE EVER!!!

Galaxy Minstrets!!!

T.V Series:
         The Carrie Diaries
         Revolution

        Arrow

     Bates Hotel

Movies:

   Red Dawn

  The Art Of Getting By
