Mini Primark & Superdrug Haul

Hello lovelies,

Last week Sunday I went out to get some shopping done because I needed some new cheap clothes(xD) and I wanted to try a new concealer out.

First I went to Primark. I saw loads of things in New Look before i went to Primark and i did not see much difference in with the styles of clothing that were out and the quality of the clothes looked similar so i thought it would be easier to get what i want in Primark as it would be way cheaper there.

I went in there with only one thing in my mind! FIND A HOODIE!
So I went straight to the part where they have hoodies and joggers and coats. They did not have a black hoodie as I wanted I got a nice purple hoodie and I tried to get a little bit bigger than me so it looks baggy and feels comfortable.
I got this one for £8.00 (in new look the same hoodie was about £12/14)

Near the hoodies and coats there were the hair section and I was in a serious need of hairbands, so I went there and when I saw all the options of colours for hair band I totally lost it so I end up getting the black simple ones and this pink&blue&purple ones!

Then I went T-shirt hunting haha I found two cute shirts one is a plain grey one is a little bit see through but looks amazing with a white or black bra and the other one is a white one with a beautiful LA stamp that says dreaming of life in LA.
Grey shirt was £4 and the LA one was £3.

Then I fell in love with this gorgeous neon leopard print scarf which I did not think twice about buying it. It was £4

Thats all I got in primark! Off to super drug I got myself the Fit me Concealer as I heard very good things about it on youtube and from other bloggers, so I thought I would give it a try.

And last but not least I got two Baby Lips lip balms from Maybelline. I got the blue and pink packaging   one which says its for Hydration which so far is my favourite from the ones I got because it actually does makes my lips feel more hydrated but not for a long time though. The other one I got was the yellow and orange packaging one which says is for Intense Care, I'm not a big fan of this one because it did not make my lips feel like it was being intensely cared (if that makes any sense) it actually made my lips feel a bit dry.
Each one was £2.99 but it was on sale as 2 for £5 when I got it.

Have you tried any of the Baby lips lip balms? what are your opinions on it and what about the Fit Me concealer, did it work for you/ did you like it?
Let me know in the comments.

Back to "School"

Hello girlies,

One of the reasons I have been lacking on posts this past week or two is because I started sixth form (last two years of high school for you lovely American followers) and for this space of a week and a half that I've been there I've gotten 3 essays and 4 intense researches to do. I promised to do a post everyday this month but it didn't work out as I planned due to those 'homework's', so from now on I'll try my best to post at least once a week not just for you guys but because i want to (obviously).

So heres my "Back to school" haul (kind of xD) :

I was searching for a cute backpack everywhere and when i finally found one on ebay it was out of stock so I searched for the exact same one and found it from another seller (thank god). The bag bellow is by Anna Smith is in the colour turquoise polka dots. (got it for £18.99).

Then I went on a hunt for cheap school supplies (project books, pens, pencils, labels, rulers, binders and etc) so I went to Tesco's xD thats where I got those project books bellow (notebooks), BiC pens, ruler, HB pencils and that little box of labels which all of that cost me about £17-20 because I got about 5 project books (£2.50 each). I end up not needing those project books because my Sixth Form actually gave some to us (one for each teacher) which I didn't know they would but even though I'm not going to use these daily I use to revise, copy the lesson down when I get home, make notes, do my homework  and also do my own research on (which is very useful and will help me when i comes to revising for the exams).

The binder i didn't buy xD i asked my dad to bring one from his work because it was easier and cheaper.

This pencil case bellow I got it in Brazil at a store called Tok&Stok, cant remember how much it was but it wasn't that expensive. Since I was young all my pencil cases were from there and all see through but in different colours each year xD.

Tomorrow I'll be going out to get more things which are missing for some of my lesson. For example a huge A3 folder to carry my photography books in, Hole-puncher to make holes on my paper to put in my binder and also a new pack or just one eraser haha.

Did you just go back to School/College/Sixth form? What did you get?

Much Love,
Maria xox

Sixth Form(College) Courses (A-Level's & BTEC Level 3's)

Hello lovely readers/followers,

So as you know I'm sixteen and that mean I just started Sixth Form(College) meaning new subjects, grade boundaries, new people and new environment.
I started Sixth Form(College) on the 4th of september and i choose to do A-level Media studies, A-Level Psychology, A-Level Drama and BTEC Level 3 Photography.

One of the first lessons I had was Psychology and when i first choose it i always thought it was going to be boring and that I wouldn't enjoy it at all and I actually do like it is one of my favourite subjects in College. We are learning about attachment and memory :)

Then I had Media Studies which I've loved since year 10 when I first started doing in secondary school. When I got in the class it hit me that I never actually learnt the media language and techniques and certain key terms but that wont stop me from loving the subject (so after the first day when I got home I went straight to the computer and researched everything I needed to know). We're learning all the Media Language and techniques and about Action Adventure Films. Also my favourite subject.

Then I had Drama, which is something I enjoy doing and find very useful in life (to build up your confidence) to speak to groups of people or even just one person. I had about four lessons of drama and I noticed that it wasn't exactly what I wanted to do for more two years so I changed, for BTEC lEVEL 3 ICT which doesn't sound or is very fun to do but for the career I want to proceed is very useful in a way.

Then Finally I had Photography which is something people find it very easy because they think is all about having a camera/phone and take a "awesome" picture and that makes them a photographer (no offence to anyone). What I love about this course is that we learn the history, the techniques, we learn about other photographers and everything that would relate to photography and graphic design.

Are you in College/University? What subjects are you doing? Do you enjoy them?Let me know in the comments bellow.

Much Love,

Summer Favourites

Hello,

So as I promised to you guys on twitter (@misscheerful28) I'm going to do my summer favourites as summer is already over for me due to the fact College starts on Wednesday and it's getting cold again!

Make Up

I actually didnt use much make up or beauty related things this summer but when I really needed to go somewhere important or where there would be cute guys (hehe xD) I used the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation which is very light and theres a good but very little coverage. (I use on the shade 120 which is classic ivory)

Skin care

Definitely the Clearasil Vitamins & Extracts Face Scrub & the Clearasil Deep Cleansing Wipes (as always).

Hair

It has been ages since I have split ends and it's all thanks to TRESemme Split Remedy literally a life saver! I normally apply right after I washed my hair.

Nails

For the summer I love pastel colours because they are so light and cute and nothing extravagant which suits with nearly everything you use/wears during the summer.

(Blue one is from Technic, the orange/pinkish is from Gold, the green one is from Rimmel, the purple and the yellow one are from Hello Petal I believe but they came on a magazine so I dont know if you can find it anywhere)

Books

Music

Can We Dance by The Vamps
Chocolate by The 1975
Lullaby by Paradise Fears
Boomerang by The Summer Set

GCSE Results

Hello,

On Thursday 22nd of August I got my GCSE results which I had been stressing over it for about two months. Last year when I got my english lang. and my maths results I was really disappointed because I thought I did pretty well due to the fact that I did everything my teacher told me to do but the grades boundaries changed and my grades went down hill and then again this year they changed the grade boundaries and I got really worried because what if I had gotten bad grades again then I wouldn't be able to go to the college I wanted and anxiety was hitting me bad but on the 22nd when I opened my envelope and saw my results I was really happy with it. I'm glad I got the grades I needed even though I think I could've done better but for someone who moved to London four years ago and didn't know any english I done pretty well.

Much Love,
