Photo Diary - Week 1 -

Hey Lovelies,

I've dicided to start a new series on this blog, I want to stop letting you guys down because I always promise to you guys that I'd have at least two posts per week but I always end up never delivering what I've promised. So what I want to applish with this series  is that I will make a post about whatever else I want (make up, fashion, school, etc) and will also post  pictures of things I got up to on that week that went by or that happened and wanted to share with you guys.

So lets get to it..
(21-27 of october 2013)
On monday was the day I had to present my first final piece for Unit 1 in photography.. which was a bit nerve racking as the boy I kinda got a crush on, is in that class, he made me feel so awkward because he kept his eyes locked on mine until I finishes presenting and what I find it weird is that he didnt pay attention like he did while i was presenting when the other people in the class was! obviously I'm not getting my hopes up because he doesnt even talk to me properly so yeah xD

& whent I got home.. I went to light up my candle and for the first time ever I've finished a candle like all the day.. I was so happy but at the same time sad because my room wasnt going to smell like cherry jelly beans haha

On tuesday and wednesday I didnt do much just school and homework tbh.
Now on thursday and friday I ended up not going to college as I couldn't even walk properly due to back pains (which I'm still complaining about as I can't bend down to get things on the floor and stuff). All I did was watch series, read my book and tried to get all the information from my friends (like class work and homework that tthe tearches gave those days so I can do all of it during half term). On friday I went to the doctors to see what is actually up with my bacL, because its not really normal for a sixteen years old to have back pains.. all they did was check if it wasnt muscle pains and they said it's  all because of the amount of weight I cary to school and my posture when I sit down, so they gave me some pain killers which trigged my asthma (very clever doctor.. you go girl -.-) so I stop using it. I also got the Casio watch which I meantioned on my last post from The Watch Hunt in the mail and with that I organised the outfit for the post. AND OF COURSE ATE LOADS OF ICE CREAM!!! :D

So what did you get up to last week? Anything interesting?
Let me know in the comments below.

OOTD - Fall Edition + Casio Watch*

Hello lovelies,
It's fall!! Well yeah it's been fall for a couple of weeks now Maria c'mon but I'm finally doing a OOTD :D
I'd have modeled it out but I've been having some horrible back pains so I didn't even bother trying to do it, but I promise that my next OOTD or fashion ralated post I will model it out xD

So as you can see if a big baggy arctic monkeys jumper with a skater skirt from last years new look collection xD and plain black and white converses. As you can see its a marylin monroe vintage neck lace which I got it at the start of the year in Camden town.
Now the accessories, I choose this beautiful Casio watch.. Which matches my skirt and also fits in very well with autumn and the vintage trend we teenagers have going on right now xD Then there's this awesome wrap purple bracelet that I had it for ages (got it in Brazil.

So yeah this is it for my OOTD for the fall. What have you been wearing this Fall?
What kind of colours you like to wear during autumn and winter?
Let me know in the comments.

Very early Christmas Wish List!

Hey guys,
I know is a bit early to be posting a 'Christmas Wish List' but yeah.
I know the things in my list seems a little bit greedy but thats what I've been wanting for a long time now and I know im not going to get everything I want but I always stick to this this list until I get everything doesnt matter if I spend years waiting for it. I notmally ask for one thing for christmas and then one thing for my birthday and normally those things are what I really really want/need.

1. Macbook Pro 15inch. This is something I've wanting for a long time, my current computer is very very old and its supper slow. Nearly every month I have to restore it so it wont frezze consgtantly or what not, even though my parents dont want to get me a laptop (they want to get me a newer version of my current computer which is a macmini) but I just think it would be more pratical to have a laptop as I'm in college and in a few years will be going to university it would be easier to already have a laptop which I could take anywhere and do my assiments and other things.

2. Dr Martens Pascal Boot Black. AHHHHHH I just want those boots so much!

3. Aria Clarisonic Blue. Well I really want this as I heard loads of good things about it and how I have really bad skins I would like to give this a try and see if it gets any better. I dont specifivcally want a Aria Clarisonic Blue, I would be happy the cheapest one I can find xD.

4. RealTechnique Powder Brush. I'm just in need of a new and big powder brush as I only use brushes for my powder anyway.

5. Maybelline New York Baby Lips Balm Electro. I JUST WANT IT! I've seen pictures of people wearing them and I just feel in love with the shades.

6. Mac Shy Girl Lipstick. I've wanted a nude lipstick for a few months now and as I've been searching through the web, loads of people seem to use this one and I've seen people using them and its exactly the shade I want.

7. Penny Board. since I was little I used to love to skate and everything and since I moved to london it seems like I have forgoten about every productive thing I used to do. I would love to get a penny board and get on my old habbits of skating around and hurting myself trying to learn new tricks ( not those extream ones but yeah) haha.
What do you want for christmas? or what have you been dying to get?
Let me know in the comments.

Much Love,

September Favourites

Hello lovelies,

I know its been nearly two weeks since I posted something but I'll be writing two posts today and posting them at different times.
I know I'm a bit late with my september favourites but here it is..

There's not much things that I enjoyed using or doing as most of the time I was writing essays.
Starting with beauty favourites something I've been enjoying since summer is the Fit Me foundation by maybelline on the shade 120 classic ivory. As this foundation is very light light on your skin and makes you feel like you're hardly wearing anything.

Another I've used a lot this month is the famous Fit Me concealer by Maybelline in the shade 15. As every blogger/ beauty vlogger has been talking a bout this concealer since Maybelline announced it i got it as you saw on my mini haul  post. It's exactly like the foundation light but very good coverage (well if you're going for a very natural look).

Moving on from face beauty products to lashes. If you have been with me since I started my blog you would know that I LOVE the Rimmel The Scandaleyes mascara (the orange with black sell line packaging) but I've been feeling like that one was too much for my eyes as I used nearly everyday, when I would get home I would look in the mirror and it looked like a had a black eye as the mascara smudged and had me question myself if I looked like that the whole day so I gave the Scandaleyes show off mascara also by Rimmel. The difference between them is that the brushes are designed differently. Don't get me wrong I still love the Scandaleyes mascara but for a day-to-day basis I would rather use the Scandaleyes Show Off mascara because as the brush is smaller and curvier not much product goes to you lashes again giving you a more natural look.

Moving on to Lips care. This past month I've been loving the Baby Lips Hydrate Lip balm (moisturiser). It literally does what it says on the packaging, it leaves your lips more hydrated and soft and more heathy looking. As I forgot to get a picture of just the Candle I'm just going to mention it here xD. This Candle is literally heaven leaves nearly the whole house smelling like Very Cherry Jelly Belly.

Now for my fashion favourite this month was definitely My new leopard neon print scarf from Primark, you can see more about it in my mini haul post.

And Finally for my book favourite this month it has to be the only book I had time to read, even hough I only read a few pages I have a feeling that I'm going to love it.

So this is it for this month's favourite. So how about you? Have you tried and loved any of the things OI mentioned? Or better what have you been loving through out the past month?

Much Love,
Maria xox

Mini Primark & Superdrug Haul

Hello lovelies,

Last week Sunday I went out to get some shopping done because I needed some new cheap clothes(xD) and I wanted to try a new concealer out.

First I went to Primark. I saw loads of things in New Look before i went to Primark and i did not see much difference in with the styles of clothing that were out and the quality of the clothes looked similar so i thought it would be easier to get what i want in Primark as it would be way cheaper there.

I went in there with only one thing in my mind! FIND A HOODIE!
So I went straight to the part where they have hoodies and joggers and coats. They did not have a black hoodie as I wanted I got a nice purple hoodie and I tried to get a little bit bigger than me so it looks baggy and feels comfortable.
I got this one for £8.00 (in new look the same hoodie was about £12/14)

Near the hoodies and coats there were the hair section and I was in a serious need of hairbands, so I went there and when I saw all the options of colours for hair band I totally lost it so I end up getting the black simple ones and this pink&blue&purple ones!

Then I went T-shirt hunting haha I found two cute shirts one is a plain grey one is a little bit see through but looks amazing with a white or black bra and the other one is a white one with a beautiful LA stamp that says dreaming of life in LA.
Grey shirt was £4 and the LA one was £3.

Then I fell in love with this gorgeous neon leopard print scarf which I did not think twice about buying it. It was £4

Thats all I got in primark! Off to super drug I got myself the Fit me Concealer as I heard very good things about it on youtube and from other bloggers, so I thought I would give it a try.

And last but not least I got two Baby Lips lip balms from Maybelline. I got the blue and pink packaging   one which says its for Hydration which so far is my favourite from the ones I got because it actually does makes my lips feel more hydrated but not for a long time though. The other one I got was the yellow and orange packaging one which says is for Intense Care, I'm not a big fan of this one because it did not make my lips feel like it was being intensely cared (if that makes any sense) it actually made my lips feel a bit dry.
Each one was £2.99 but it was on sale as 2 for £5 when I got it.

Have you tried any of the Baby lips lip balms? what are your opinions on it and what about the Fit Me concealer, did it work for you/ did you like it?
Let me know in the comments.

Back to "School"

Hello girlies,

One of the reasons I have been lacking on posts this past week or two is because I started sixth form (last two years of high school for you lovely American followers) and for this space of a week and a half that I've been there I've gotten 3 essays and 4 intense researches to do. I promised to do a post everyday this month but it didn't work out as I planned due to those 'homework's', so from now on I'll try my best to post at least once a week not just for you guys but because i want to (obviously).

So heres my "Back to school" haul (kind of xD) :

I was searching for a cute backpack everywhere and when i finally found one on ebay it was out of stock so I searched for the exact same one and found it from another seller (thank god). The bag bellow is by Anna Smith is in the colour turquoise polka dots. (got it for £18.99).

Then I went on a hunt for cheap school supplies (project books, pens, pencils, labels, rulers, binders and etc) so I went to Tesco's xD thats where I got those project books bellow (notebooks), BiC pens, ruler, HB pencils and that little box of labels which all of that cost me about £17-20 because I got about 5 project books (£2.50 each). I end up not needing those project books because my Sixth Form actually gave some to us (one for each teacher) which I didn't know they would but even though I'm not going to use these daily I use to revise, copy the lesson down when I get home, make notes, do my homework  and also do my own research on (which is very useful and will help me when i comes to revising for the exams).

The binder i didn't buy xD i asked my dad to bring one from his work because it was easier and cheaper.

This pencil case bellow I got it in Brazil at a store called Tok&Stok, cant remember how much it was but it wasn't that expensive. Since I was young all my pencil cases were from there and all see through but in different colours each year xD.

Tomorrow I'll be going out to get more things which are missing for some of my lesson. For example a huge A3 folder to carry my photography books in, Hole-puncher to make holes on my paper to put in my binder and also a new pack or just one eraser haha.

Did you just go back to School/College/Sixth form? What did you get?

Much Love,
Maria xox

Sixth Form(College) Courses (A-Level's & BTEC Level 3's)

Hello lovely readers/followers,

So as you know I'm sixteen and that mean I just started Sixth Form(College) meaning new subjects, grade boundaries, new people and new environment.
I started Sixth Form(College) on the 4th of september and i choose to do A-level Media studies, A-Level Psychology, A-Level Drama and BTEC Level 3 Photography.

One of the first lessons I had was Psychology and when i first choose it i always thought it was going to be boring and that I wouldn't enjoy it at all and I actually do like it is one of my favourite subjects in College. We are learning about attachment and memory :)

Then I had Media Studies which I've loved since year 10 when I first started doing in secondary school. When I got in the class it hit me that I never actually learnt the media language and techniques and certain key terms but that wont stop me from loving the subject (so after the first day when I got home I went straight to the computer and researched everything I needed to know). We're learning all the Media Language and techniques and about Action Adventure Films. Also my favourite subject.

Then I had Drama, which is something I enjoy doing and find very useful in life (to build up your confidence) to speak to groups of people or even just one person. I had about four lessons of drama and I noticed that it wasn't exactly what I wanted to do for more two years so I changed, for BTEC lEVEL 3 ICT which doesn't sound or is very fun to do but for the career I want to proceed is very useful in a way.

Then Finally I had Photography which is something people find it very easy because they think is all about having a camera/phone and take a "awesome" picture and that makes them a photographer (no offence to anyone). What I love about this course is that we learn the history, the techniques, we learn about other photographers and everything that would relate to photography and graphic design.

Are you in College/University? What subjects are you doing? Do you enjoy them?Let me know in the comments bellow.

Much Love,
Maria xox

Summer Favourites

Hello,

So as I promised to you guys on twitter (@misscheerful28) I'm going to do my summer favourites as summer is already over for me due to the fact College starts on Wednesday and it's getting cold again!

Make Up

I actually didnt use much make up or beauty related things this summer but when I really needed to go somewhere important or where there would be cute guys (hehe xD) I used the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation which is very light and theres a good but very little coverage. (I use on the shade 120 which is classic ivory)

Skin care

Definitely the Clearasil Vitamins & Extracts Face Scrub & the Clearasil Deep Cleansing Wipes (as always).

Hair

It has been ages since I have split ends and it's all thanks to TRESemme Split Remedy literally a life saver! I normally apply right after I washed my hair.

Nails

For the summer I love pastel colours because they are so light and cute and nothing extravagant which suits with nearly everything you use/wears during the summer.

(Blue one is from Technic, the orange/pinkish is from Gold, the green one is from Rimmel, the purple and the yellow one are from Hello Petal I believe but they came on a magazine so I dont know if you can find it anywhere)

Books

Music

Can We Dance by The Vamps
Chocolate by The 1975
Lullaby by Paradise Fears
Boomerang by The Summer Set

TV show

Film

GCSE Results

Hello,

On Thursday 22nd of August I got my GCSE results which I had been stressing over it for about two months. Last year when I got my english lang. and my maths results I was really disappointed because I thought I did pretty well due to the fact that I did everything my teacher told me to do but the grades boundaries changed and my grades went down hill and then again this year they changed the grade boundaries and I got really worried because what if I had gotten bad grades again then I wouldn't be able to go to the college I wanted and anxiety was hitting me bad but on the 22nd when I opened my envelope and saw my results I was really happy with it. I'm glad I got the grades I needed even though I think I could've done better but for someone who moved to London four years ago and didn't know any english I done pretty well.

Clearasil Vitamins & Extracts Face Scrub -Review-

Hello,

Guy I don't even know how to start this post!
This product is amazing seriously it's been a life saver!
I use it everyday while I'm taking shower, I gently scrub it all over my face (specially places where I get the most acne and the places I put a lot of make up (of course to be secure that no make up is left after I used the wipes) then I leave it for about a minute (when you feel like it's kinda burning your face but it's just the product doing his job) and then I take it off normally.
Instantly you feel your face go softer and you feel it breathing ( you feel like its clean).
I do it everyday and i can really see the change (i've been using for about two weeks now).

I really recommend this product!!

Much Love,
Maria xox
